WRSPC is very excited to announce that Tana Nash will be the new executive director of the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention!  Additionally, Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council will be the new home of the national office beginning the end of June.   Tana will dedicate her time a couple of days a week to advancing suicide prevention nationally while continuing to spend her time locally in Waterloo Region.  To ensure that suicide prevention initiatives in Waterloo Region continue to receive the attention they deserve, WRSPC has also hired a program coordinator who will begin the beginning of July. We are thrilled to welcome Kate Penner to the team.

A huge thank you to  partners and individuals in Waterloo Region for their continued support and dedication to suicide prevention.  Having CASP relocate to our community is a testament to the work being done.
