From the CASP blog – World Suicide Prevention Day

Today in Canada…

  • 11 people will end their lives by suicide.
  • 210 others will attempt to end their lives.
  • 77-110 people will become newly bereaved by suicide.

On September 10th, World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) we are calling on all Canadians to “reach out” and join us in not only reducing this number but making suicide a thing of the past.

Preventing Suicide: Reaching Out and Saving Lives Across Canada.

Let your friends, family and colleagues know how you plan to “reach out” by sharing on social media and tagging your post with #WSPD2015.

Download this form, print and get involved. With increased awareness, collaboration, access to improved support and resources we can save lives across Canada. Suicide prevention is everybody’s business.
